Part 1: Find the Web Sharing controls in GoatRhythm

  1. Sign in to GoatRhythm and decide which records you want visitors to see.
  2. For your breeding schedule: Open Breeding Season, then select Web Sharing. Choose the breedings or goats you want displayed and review the sharing options.
  3. For an individual goat's records: Open that goat's page and find the relevant Show Wins, Milk Test, or Linear Appraisal section. Use its Web Sharing option to prepare the records for your website.
  4. Check the selected records and any goat-level sharing opt-outs before making information public.
  5. Copy the embed code GoatRhythm provides for the records you want to display.

Part 2: Add the records to a WordPress site using Elementor

  1. Sign in to your WordPress dashboard and open the page where you want the records to appear.
  2. Choose Edit with Elementor. Find the location on the page where you want the GoatRhythm information.
  3. In Elementor's widget panel, search for HTML and drag the HTML widget into that section of your page.
  4. Paste the embed code you copied from GoatRhythm into the HTML widget. Keep the code intact.
  5. Click Update or Publish in Elementor, then open the public page to confirm the records appear correctly.
  6. Check the page on both a computer and a phone. If the information does not appear, recheck that you pasted the complete embed code and published the page.

Part 3: Keep your website current

Once the embed is in place, continue updating the shared records in GoatRhythm. Your website display can reflect those changes without pasting new code for every update. You can change which goats or records are shared using GoatRhythm's sharing controls.

Only share information you're comfortable making public. If you use a website builder other than Elementor, look for its HTML, custom-code, or embed block. The video shows Elementor; button labels may differ slightly in other editors.

  1. Get your ADGA Linear Appraisal report PDF ready.
  2. Sign in to GoatRhythm and open the Linear Appraisal area.
  3. Find the available PDF import option and select the report.
  4. Review the goats matched to your herd and inspect any possible or unmatched entries.
  5. Correct matches as needed before confirming the import.
  6. After importing, open a goat's LA history and verify the results.

How do I…?

How do I get started?

Create your herd with the 30-day trial. Sign in, open your Herd page and add your first goat. You can fill in more details later.

How do I import my goats?

Sign in and look for the import option in GoatRhythm. Prepare your herd data as a CSV file, preview the matched fields and review for duplicates before confirming.

How do I record a breeding?

Open Breeding Season, choose a doe and buck, then add the breeding date. Use Planned Breedings to plan ahead, and record heat observations when you need them.

How do I use the Watch List?

Open a goat's record and add an item that needs attention. Use the Watch List on your Herd page to see follow-ups in one place.

How do I record a treatment?

Open the goat's Health records, choose a medicine from the Medicine Cabinet, enter the weight and treatment details, then review the calculated dose and withdrawal date before saving.

How do I share my breeding schedule on my website?

Sign in and open Web Sharing. Choose the breeding schedule, review which goats are included and copy the provided embed code. Paste it into an HTML or embed block on your website. Future changes in GoatRhythm update the shared display.

How do I share show wins, milk tests or LA?

Open the relevant goat's record and use the Web Sharing option for that record type. Copy the generated embed code into your website page. Only share records you want public.

Can a farm helper use GoatRhythm?

Yes. Add an authorized user with the appropriate role. Farmhand access is designed for viewing records and adding notes without editing herd data.
